About this speaker

Kathleen Fealy is a digital consultant and President of KF Multimedia & Web, Inc. She began her career as a Corporate Video Producer/Director for clients including New York Life, UPS, and McDonald's, and learned about graphic design in KPMG's National Marketing Department.

In 2000, Kathleen started KF Multimedia & Web, Inc., first concentrating on web design and then specializing in improving website visibility through search engine optimization (SEO).

Digital marketing is mostly about people and communication - why they do something, what drives them, and how they act. To enhance her understanding of online customer behavior, Kathleen became a Human Factors International Certified Usability Analyst and a ConversionXL Certified Optimizer. As content is essential throughout the Web, she plans to have her CopyHackers Conversion Copywriter certification by next year.

Kathleen has spoken on SEO and usability panels at Search Engine Strategies SES Conferences in San Jose, Chicago, and New York; and at IMC-NY. Her articles have appeared in Search Engine Journal, Visibility and SES Magazine. She was a regular contributor to Web Marketing Today where she also was a featured webinar presenter on the topics of SEO, usability, and customer conversion.

As past co-chair of the Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization, she peer-reviewed the SEMPO Institute's SEO online search marketing certification course and helped create a classification for Search professionals in the US Dept. of Labor's O*Net Classification in conjunction with Research Triangle Institute.

Kathleen strongly believes in demystifying digital marketing. When businesses develop or refine their digital marketing strategies first, and then deploying tactics, they can increase online revenues and grow.
